For over 6 years, Tmpl has developed technology adapted for humans and their home. Now Tmpl merges with Avy and the new company name becomes Avy-Tmpl. New name – but with the same commitment, heart and vision.
Avy-Tmpl’s combined platform results in the widest product range in the Nordics and a complete offer for property owners and residents. Together with our customers, employees and partners, we continue to look forward to working towards the vision of leading the development towards smarter and more sustainable housing.
The technology development company Tmpl and the property development company Tobin Properties signs a license agreement, where Tmpl’s tech platform for the digitalized home will be built into Tobin Properties real estate project. The first of Tobin’s residential areas to be connected to Tmpl’s technology is 5 Hus in Nacka, where residents will move in during the summer and autumn of 2017.
Tmpl’s technology solution for the connected smart home is the first of its kind in Europe, and the company has recently been awarded the prestigious technology award Guldmobilen.
– We are looking forward to seeing Tmpl’s technology used in the project 5 Hus, and we look forward to further developing our cooperation with Tobin Properties in future projects where smart digital technology makes everything related to the accommodation easier, says Eric Anderbjörk, CEO of Tmpl.
– We went for a smart platform that facilitates communication and documentation, and that meets the needs of apartment owners when it comes to a modern accommodation, says Louise Saxholm, Marketing Manager at Tobin Properties.
In Tobin Properties project 5 Hus at Tollare strand in Nacka the focus has been on communication possibilities, digital documentation, a booking system for resources, and electricity consumption monitoring, where apartment owners can also compare their consumption with their neighbours. 73 apartments are ready to be moved into during June 2017. In the next stage an evaluation will be made to establish what Tobin Properties’ customers can be offered regarding Smart Homes in future projects.
How Tmpl works:
By using an app and a smart phone, residents can monitor the consumption of, for example, their electricity. They can also communicate with their neighbours and book shared resources. Tmpl is already installed in several residential areas in Uppsala, such as Smaragden in Rosendal and Tiunda Park in Uppsala’s classical student district around Rackarberget.
