Tmpl and Stena Fastigheter have signed an agreement where Tmpl’s technique will be serving connected homes in Stena Fastigheter’s new-built condominiums Vegaettan. The condominiums are situated in the new district Vega in Stockholm, where Stena Fastigheter are now building 1 400 new accommodations.

An extensive construction is currently in progress at Stena Fastigheter, with approximately 1000 new accommodations per year. An important part of developing both new and existing accommodations is to put to account and test different possibilities that the digitalisation implies.

– We look a lot at the accommodation of the future, how our customers want to live and what services they are interested in now and in the future. Here, the digitalisation and the possibility to offer different digital services play an import role. This pilot project is a good opportunity to test some of these possibilities, says Niclas Melander, CEO at Stena Bygg AB.

The pilot project implies that Stena Fastigheter will test Tmpl’s platform for integration of digital services. This comprises social interaction, digital documentation and sharing and booking of resources. The residents of Vegaettan will have access to the platform through Stena Fastigheter’s app Stena BRF and through displays in the buildings’ entrances. In the app, the residents will be able to communicate with each other and the co-op, buy and sell things and post invites to events. On the display, one can also see public transport from nearby stops. The weather of the day and the coming week also shows. Via the app, the residents can also unlock the entrance and storage room doors.

– We are very happy about our collaboration with Stena Fastigheter and strongly believe that Tmpl’s function for social interaction will contribute to social sustainability in the new Vega area, says Eric Anderbjörk, CEO at Tmpl.
