The companies have signed a license agreement whereby Tmpl’s technology platform will be built into Lindbäck’s real estate project. The first of Lindbäcks’ residential areas to be connected to Tmpl’s technology is Dagsmejan in Sollentuna, which will be ready for moving in during 2018.

Tmpl’s technology solution for the smart connected home is the first of its kind in Europe, and the company has recently been awarded the prestigious technology award Guldmobilen. Tmpl’s smart home solution has already been met with great interest, especially from the real estate industry facing the challenge of meeting demands for functional, environmentally friendly and safe living environments..

– We are pleased that Lindbäcks has chosen our technology platform for their future projects, and we are looking forward to further develop and refine smart home services that the residents really use and benefit from, says Tmpl’s CEO Eric Anderbjörk.

– What we fell for is a well-developed and well-tested technology platform. This means that in Lindbäck’s own housing development projects, we will be able to offer our residents smart home services faster than expected, says Roger Roos, Lindbäcks Boende.

In the Lindbäcks project BRF Dagsmejan in Sollentuna the focus has been on information services, social networking within the housing association and Smart Home functions in public areas. 203 apartments will be ready for moving in after the summer of 2018. In the next stage an evaluation will be made to establish what Lindbäcks’ customers can be offered regarding Smart Home in the apartments in future projects.

How Tmpl works:

With the help of an app and a smart phone, residents can control their locks, alarms and other security features at home. It is also possible to communicate with neighbours, book and share resources as well as have contact with surrounding service facilities such as shops, restaurants and training facilities. Alarms can be directly linked to the service companies, to get the fastest help possible during for example a water leak. Tmpl is already installed in several residential areas in Uppsala, among others in Smaragden in Rosendal and Tiunda Park in Uppsala’s classical student district close to Rackarberget.
