Tmpl develops digital neighborhood services in a unique pilot project together with Uppsala Municipality

In a unique pilot project, Uppsala Municipality will use the digital housing platform Tmpl in the neighborhood of Rosendal. The municipality will use Tmpl for, among other things, civil dialogue in construction and urban environment issues.

For one year, the Municipality of Uppsala will use the housing platform Tmpl to communicate with residents in Rosendal about various construction work that affects life in the neighborhood. Through the platform, residents in Rosendal will also be able to send error reports to the municipality.

– Tmpl’s platform is aimed at both residential and commercial properties. Adding the city perspective to this is a natural process where people who live and work in the city should be able to more easily enjoy the added value of improved information and dialogue with their municipality. It is also about testing new ways to deal with issues such as sustainability, civil dialogue and public safety in an era when digitalization makes this possible, says Henrik Svanqvist, CEO of Tmpl.

The purpose of the pilot project is to explore new opportunities that digitalization offers when it comes to reaching out to residents with important information from the municipality. Rosendal is a neighborhood under development and construction work is therefore part of everyday life.

– We constantly need to find new ways to reach out with information to the residents of Uppsala. Through this pilot project we hope to simplify everyday life for residents in Rosendal and make it easier to live in an area still under development, says Erik Pelling (S), chairman of the Land and Development Committee.

The pilot project in the Rosendal neighborhood of Uppsala starts now in November and is ongoing for one year.

– There is a lot going on in the digitalization of real estate and cities where Tmpl is one of the leading players in the Nordic region. It is exciting to carry this out together with the Municipality of Uppsala. We believe that Tmpl can help solve several of the challenges that our cities are facing, says Henrik Svanqvist.
