For over 6 years, Tmpl has developed technology adapted for humans and their home. Now Tmpl merges with Avy and the new company name becomes Avy-Tmpl. New name – but with the same commitment, heart and vision.
Avy-Tmpl’s combined platform results in the widest product range in the Nordics and a complete offer for property owners and residents. Together with our customers, employees and partners, we continue to look forward to working towards the vision of leading the development towards smarter and more sustainable housing.
With an advanced mobile platform, the PropTech company Tmpl from Uppsala aims to become the leading player within residential services. Now, another important step is taken as Wallenstam, one of Sweden’s largest real estate companies, enters an extensive collaboration where 440 rental apartments in Stockholm and Gothenburg will be connected to the Tmpl platform.
“The collaboration with Wallenstam is a proof of the value add we can provide to the large real estate companies. It becomes extra interesting as the project is extensive and therefore will be able to process a large amount of data”, says Henrik Svanqvist, CEO at Tmpl.
The pilot project will be carried out with residents in two properties in the residential area Lunden in Gothenburg, and in Stockholm it will be carried out in two new built properties in Solberga. Among other things, the residents will receive data of their electricity and water consumption via EcoGuard and get access to services such as Wallenstam’s own car pool Wallenstam Go as well as a basic range of Tmpl’s platform services. The intention is then to launch the platform to Wallenstam’s remaining units, approximately 9000 apartments, during the autumn of 2019.
Wallenstam regards the project with Tmpl as an important initiative in order to be able to offer their tenants value with the help of modern technology.
“We see a great potential when it comes to digital residential services, and we want be able to offer smart and efficient solutions for our tenants. Service development is a natural part of our work with innovation and sustainability. Through a social feed in the app, our residential tenants can even put the sharing economy into practice”, says Elisabeth Vansvik, Director of Communications at Wallenstam.
The number of users in the Tmpl platform has passed 50 000 and by the end of the year, the company expects to have over 200 000 users. The focus is on providing an open and flexible platform with a wide range of residential services to the benefit of both residents, property owners and tenant owner associations.
Tmpl gives large property owners control over the digitalization of their properties with the possibility to create a customized mobile platform service. The platform creates conditions for better tenant communication as well as a direct channel to services and products for the home.
“We are happy to notice a quickly increasing interest in our platform and we put all our focus on meeting the demand and developing the platform as well as collaborations and further service offerings”, says Henrik Svanqvist.
